Job description:

This company is an innovative process automation manufacturer with a North American HQ in El Monte CA. They’ve built their engineering department to adhere to agile software development methodology and have an engineering team of over 40 on-site with several functional area managers who lead MOB groups. Right now they’re working on “smarter” instrumentation for their customers and want to focus on improving their embedded software packages. We’ve worked with them over many years and can attest to a great culture and an organization that’s truly committed to clean water and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Directs the design of new products, improves existing designs and maintains the consistency of product development.
• Guides engineering teams in embedded software development and integration into hardware. 
• Develop metrics to improve upon development processes
• Propose and hire additional positions & skillsets

Requirements:

• MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience managing software and hardware engineering teams
• 5+ years of engineering experience, project team lead/manager or managing R&D or engineering projects
