They are in need of a Director of Software Engineering to help achieve competitive business goals. As the Director of Software Engineering, you will be defining the technology roadmap, shaping the development teams, and driving the future product platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee development of global and regional software and hardware architectures
- Monitor new automation technologies and determine implementation probability
- Communicate the needs of end-users and customers to development teams
- Develop technological solutions that encompass products and services.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering with an emphasis on software
- 15+ years of software development experience
- 10+ years of experience in managing engineer teams
- An extensive background in embedded software architecture
- Proven success constructing project plans, leading agile development methodologies, and measuring engineering team effectiveness
