***This role is located on-site in the Charlotte metropolitan area. Relocation assistance provided. 



  • You will develop new and innovative seasoning blends from concept to scale-up completion. 

  • You will create formulas according to customer requirements, specified restrictions, and other project specifications. 

  • You will create blending procedures for production formulas with mixing instructions, packaging information, and any relevant information for the production team. 

  • You will develop expertise in key application areas of dry blends: seasonings, gravies, marinades, rubs, and functional meat/protein blends. 

  • You will manage multiple projects and show technical competence. 

  • You will build partnerships with ingredient suppliers.  



  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinology, Chemistry, and/or a related field. 

  • You have 3+ years of experience in dry seasoning blend AND/OR protein application work. Familiarity with Certified Organic and/or Non-GMO projects preferred. 

  • You possess strong communication skills and a team-forward mindset.
