Our client, a privately held global leader in radiation-based measurement systems for industrial process control, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support and grow business across the Southeastern U.S. This role focuses on field-based technical sales in collaboration with an established network of independent reps, serving customers in industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, steel, mining, and food processing.

Location: Must be based in the Southeastern U.S. (TN, GA, AL, FL, or the Carolinas). Travel approximately 50% for customer visits and rep support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and grow sales in the Southeast region by partnering with independent manufacturer reps.
  • Conduct joint customer visits, provide technical support, and represent the company when reps are unavailable.
  • Engage with plant and engineering personnel to understand applications and recommend measurement solutions.
  • Act as a technical sales advisor focused on radiation-based level, density, and bulk flow measurement systems.
  • Track activity, manage follow-ups, and maintain CRM records across assigned territories.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, sales, and operations teams to ensure customer alignment and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of regional sales plans and performance tracking.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in process instrumentation.
  • Strong understanding of industrial applications and customers in markets such as oil & gas, chemical, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with selling through channel reps or distributors preferred.
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage territory activity.
  • Based in the Southeast and comfortable with a travel schedule of approximately 2 weeks per month.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $105K–$115K+ OTE (base + bonus, depending on experience).
