Job Description:

Our client, a leading ingredients manufacturer, is in search of a Sales Account Representative to develop and maintain their Southeast territory through technical selling skills, depth of product knowledge and knowledge of customer requirements. If you love developing new business, let’s talk!

Responsibilities:

  • Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues
  • Assesses the competition in the region and reports the activity to the VP of Sales
  • Prioritizes potential customers and business opportunities, and works with support staff to align the prospects
  • Demonstrates the ability to gather and submit detailed business information for underwriting, pricing and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities

 

Requirements:

  • Experience selling ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers (or has R&D experience and wants to go into technical sales)
  • Strong communication, presentation and organization skills (you love working with clients and internal stakeholders)
  • Dynamic personality
