Sr. Plant Quality Assurance Manager

***This position is based on-site in western Kentucky. Relocation assistance provided. 



  • You will oversee all food safety and product quality in the plant. 

  • You will control product releases to ensure that only safe and quality products are released. 

  • You will drive the creation and implementation of plant food safety and quality management systems consistent with quality management system requirements. 

  • You will ensure good quality practices, deliver continuous quality improvement, and communicate openly and timely about quality risks and opportunities to plant personnel and above. 

  • You will develop and maintain vendor partnerships. 



  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or better) in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Biology, and/or a related field. 

  • You have 7+ years of quality assurance experience in food processing, including canned goods. 

  • You are familiar with shelf-stable high acid and low acid thermal processing. 

  • You possess an in-depth understanding of quality improvement techniques such as 5S, fish bone analysis, 5W techniques, and Statistic techniques.
