Job description:

This company is a pioneer in the better-for-you food production industry, dedicated to developing and growing better-for-you snack brands that are healthier and tastier while being composed of simple ingredients.

They are in need of a Technical Services Director to oversee the quality assurance and sanitation departments. As a Technical Services Director, you will help develop, verify, and maintain product standards to ensure quality and safety standards are achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Develop company SQF program as the plant SQF Practitioner
• Develop and ensure Processing and Packaging Specifications are followed
• Ensure QA/Sanitation practices are meeting federal, state, and local regulations
• Investigate, respond to, and track consumer complaints.
• Provide continuous improvements in quality, safety, and cost improvement

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related fields preferred
• 10+ years experience in QA/QC/R&D leadership positions
• 10+ years experience leading and coaching personnel at every level
