Vice President of Operations

Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) strongly preferred
- Minimum 15 years of experience in distribution operations, with demonstrated leadership in scaling and optimizing multi-product lines
- Industry experience in bakery ingredients or food distribution is a major plus (e.g., flour, oils, shortenings, margarine, sweeteners, dairy powders, nuts, frozen/dried fruits, spices, mixes, etc.)
- Deep understanding of supply chain, finance, and sales operations
- Proven success in a privately held or entrepreneurial environment where agility, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration are essential
- Ability to lead and collaborate across departments to manage product sourcing, customer delivery, margin optimization, and vendor relationships
- Strong strategic and operational mindset with a hands-on leadership style
- Must be a proactive communicator who keeps ownership informed, brings solutions forward, and thrives in a fast-paced, decision-driven environment
