The best engineer for your next opening may already have a job.

Must have seven years of automation experience.

The first communicates a requirement. 

The second communicates an opportunity. 

Remove Unnecessary Hiring Friction 

A highly qualified employed engineer should not have to complete a lengthy application before having an exploratory conversation. 

Start with the conversation. 

Collect formal information later.

LinkedIn found that organizations conducting the most skills-based searches were 12% more likely to make a quality hire.  

This expands the potential market without lowering standards. 

It also prevents manufacturers from overlooking engineers whose capabilities fit the role even when their résumés do not match it exactly. 

Make the Engineering Work Visible 

Employer branding for engineers does not need to rely on polished lifestyle content. 

It can simply show what is happening inside the organization. 

Manufacturers can highlight:
