President / Regional Leader – USA & Canada

Location: Southeast U.S. preferred (flexible with access to major airport)

Overview
This executive will lead the full business across the United States and Canada for a global industrial automation and sensor technology company. The role carries full responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, market expansion, and organizational performance across the region.
You will define and execute the regional strategy, lead the commercial organization, and partner closely with global leadership to scale the business and strengthen market position.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Define and execute the regional growth strategy aligned with global objectives
- Identify market opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs to drive expansion
- Increase market share through targeted commercial and strategic initiatives
- Contribute to global product and go-to-market strategy based on regional insights
- Evaluate partnerships, acquisitions, and new market entry opportunities
Commercial Leadership
- Lead the regional sales organization and drive consistent revenue growth
- Establish clear performance metrics, targets, and accountability across the team
- Own forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning processes
- Engage directly with key accounts and strategic customers
- Support large, complex solution-based sales opportunities
- Build executive-level relationships across customers and industry stakeholders
- Represent the organization at major industry events and conferences
Operational & Financial Ownership
- Hold full P&L responsibility for the region
- Develop and manage annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Drive profitability, operational efficiency, and financial discipline
- Monitor performance across revenue, EBITDA, and working capital
- Ensure alignment with global processes and operational standards
Organizational Leadership
- Build and develop a high-performing leadership team
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Coach and mentor senior leaders
- Lead organizational scaling and transformation initiatives
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across sales, operations, and product teams
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of leadership experience in industrial automation, sensor technology, or related technical industries
- Proven track record of leading and scaling solution-based businesses
- Strong commercial acumen with deep experience leading sales organizations
- Demonstrated P&L ownership at a regional, business unit, or divisional level
- Experience operating in international and matrixed organizations
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
