Technical Sales Representative

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow a defined territory by developing new business and expanding existing accounts
  • Build relationships with engineers, plant leadership, and executive stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities within manufacturing environments and align solutions to real operational needs
  • Develop and execute a consistent pipeline strategy to drive revenue growth
  • Partner with internal technical teams to deliver tailored automation solutions
  • Stay close to customer processes and challenges to uncover long-term opportunities

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in technical or industrial sales, ideally selling into manufacturing environments
  • Track record of prospecting and winning new business
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and business leaders
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach
  • Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating internally

Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, robotics, or a related field preferred
  • Alternatively, an associate degree with strong technical aptitude plus 3 to 5 years of relevant sales experience
