Position Overview

Our client is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and integrate firmware for complex electronic systems. This role will work across embedded software, device integration, communications, and system testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for a range of embedded platforms and device architectures.

• Implement software interfaces and communication functions based on technical specifications.

• Support device-driver and low-level software development.

• Integrate embedded software with hardware and related systems.

• Develop and execute validation and integration testing under varied operating conditions.

• Troubleshoot software and system-level issues.

• Establish and maintain development environments and tools.

• Document software designs, implementations, testing, and system configurations.

• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Significant experience developing embedded software in C, C++, or similar low-level languages.

• Strong understanding of embedded architectures and firmware development.

• Experience with hardware interfaces and embedded communication technologies.

• Experience developing in Linux environments and using command-line tools.

• Familiarity with modern source-control and software-development practices.

• Ability to translate technical specifications into reliable software implementations.

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
