About the Role

Our client, an established food manufacturing business, is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee plant performance and drive operational improvement. This role will partner closely with ownership to strengthen leadership, improve efficiency, and support ongoing modernization efforts.

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day plant operations across production, quality, maintenance, and scheduling
• Strengthen food safety and quality systems, including certification initiatives
• Improve production planning, inventory flow, and overall operational efficiency
• Support implementation of new systems and processes to enhance visibility and performance
• Build structure, accountability, and communication across the workforce
• Partner with leadership to align operations with long-term business goals

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of regulated production environments (USDA or similar)
• Proven ability to drive operational improvements and lead through change
• Experience managing tenured workforces and complex plant environments
• Hands-on leadership style with both strategic and tactical capability
