Application Engineer – Northeast
Location: Boston, MA & Connecticut | Salary: $125K–$170K

We are seeking an Application Engineer to support technical sales efforts and drive successful customer outcomes. This role partners closely with sales teams to deliver innovative automation solutions, lead technical engagements, and build long-term customer relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with sales teams to execute team-based selling strategies
• Lead technical discussions, demos, and discovery sessions with customers
• Own technical engagements from concept through implementation
• Develop solutions, proposals, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Provide training and ongoing technical support to customers
• Drive technical issues to resolution and ensure successful adoption
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and projects

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or related role
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, motion control, robotics, HMIs, and fieldbus systems
• Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming (plus C#, C++, or Python preferred)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a customer-facing, team-oriented environment

Work Environment & Travel

• Remote-based with collaboration out of the Boston office as needed
• ~50% travel (regional with occasional overnight trips)
