Area Sales Manager, East

Our client is a robotics and industrial automation company focused on making automation easier to deploy for manufacturers. They manufacture robotics tooling and standardized automation solutions used with collaborative and industrial robots.

The Area Sales Manager will cover the East Coast territory, South Carolina through Maine, with select accounts in Canada. This is a remote, field-based role focused on growing revenue through channel partners, distributors, integrators, OEMs, and direct end-user business development.

This is not a maintenance-only account management role. The company needs someone who can create activity in the field, strengthen partner relationships, and generate demand with manufacturers.

Key responsibilities include growing sales across the territory, developing distributor and integrator relationships, supporting customer-facing product demonstrations, creating pull-through demand with end users, training partners on product positioning, and building relationships with engineering, operations, maintenance, plant leadership, and commercial decision makers.

Ideal backgrounds include robotics, EOAT, industrial automation, machine vision, motion control, controls, pneumatics, sensors, material handling, or other technical products sold into manufacturing environments.

The best fit is someone who has sold through distributors, integrators, channel partners, or OEM relationships and has a track record of growing a territory. This person needs to be comfortable working independently in a lean sales environment with regular travel across the territory.
