Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to identify growth opportunities, develop strategic customer relationships, and support expansion across key commercial channels.
This individual will be responsible for building executive-level relationships, identifying market opportunities, and working cross-functionally to support customer growth initiatives. The role requires a combination of business development, account strategy, market intelligence, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute growth strategies for strategic customer accounts and target markets

Build relationships with executive stakeholders across large enterprise organizations

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and market analysis

Lead customer business reviews, strategic planning discussions, and opportunity assessments

Collaborate with internal teams to align customer needs with organizational capabilities

Analyze market trends, customer priorities, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities

Develop account plans, pipeline strategies, and long-term customer engagement initiatives

Represent the organization at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events

Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and CRM reporting
Qualifications

Experience in business development, strategic account management, or commercial leadership roles

Proven success building relationships within large, complex organizations

Strong consultative selling and opportunity development skills

Experience leading executive-level presentations and business discussions

Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles

Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-management capabilities

Background within food, consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, retail, or related industries

Experience supporting enterprise customers and national account structures
