The Opportunity
Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys being in front of customers, identifying opportunities, and building long-term business partnerships?
We are partnering with an established global organization specializing in aftermarket parts, replacement components, and consumables for the industrial laundry industry. Backed by a leading international manufacturer of industrial laundry equipment, the company is making a significant investment in expanding its U.S. sales presence.
This is an opportunity to join a growing organization at an exciting stage of development, helping establish a more personal, customer-focused sales approach throughout the United States.
Unlike traditional capital equipment sales, this business is built on recurring customer relationships, repeat purchases, and the ability to become a trusted resource to industrial laundry operators.
The company already has an established customer base, a U.S. warehouse and distribution operation, and access to an extensive network of industry relationships. The next step is bringing experienced sales professionals directly into the field to expand those relationships and capture new opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will take ownership of a designated geographic region, developing existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan focused on revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with industrial laundry operators serving hospitality, healthcare, uniform rental, and textile-service markets.
- Leverage existing customer relationships and an established equipment network to identify immediate sales opportunities.
- Introduce customers to a broad portfolio of aftermarket products, including replacement parts, water-extraction membranes, ironer supplies, and consumables.
- Identify opportunities to expand product penetration within existing accounts.
- Prospect and develop relationships with new industrial laundry customers throughout your territory.
- Conduct regular on-site customer visits to understand operational challenges, equipment requirements, and purchasing needs.
- Provide product recommendations and coordinate with internal technical resources when necessary.
- Manage quotations, pricing discussions, negotiations, and sales opportunities through closing.
- Collaborate with inside sales and customer support personnel to ensure responsive service and reliable order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, customer activity, and market intelligence.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
What We’re Looking For
We are open to candidates from several backgrounds who bring strong sales fundamentals, technical curiosity, and the ability to develop lasting customer relationships.
Ideal experience includes:
- Experience in outside B2B sales, territory management, or technical account management.
- Background selling industrial aftermarket parts, MRO products, replacement components, consumables, or related equipment.
- Demonstrated success growing existing accounts while developing new business.
- Ability to build relationships with plant managers, maintenance leaders, operations personnel, and purchasing decisionmakers.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical products and their applications.
- Strong territory planning, negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home-based role while traveling regularly to customer facilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience That Would Set You Apart
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are particularly encouraged to explore this opportunity:
- Industrial laundry equipment, aftermarket parts, or consumables.
- Commercial laundry chemical sales.
- Industrial laundry maintenance, service, or equipment support.
- Textile services, linen supply, or uniform rental.
- Industrial MRO distribution and recurring-revenue aftermarket sales.
- Mechanical service or installation experience involving commercial laundry equipment.
Hands-on experience with ironer padding installation or replacement would be an advantage but is not required.
We are also interested in technically capable professionals with industrial laundry maintenance or operations experience who are motivated to transition into a customer-facing sales career.
