Customer Service Executive

We are partnering with a global industrial manufacturer to identify a Customer Service Executive to support its U.S. commercial team. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys customer interaction, organization, and working closely with sales and operations in a technical manufacturing environment.

Location: Providence, RI area
Schedule: On-site

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers by phone and email
• Prepare and follow up on quotes
• Enter and manage customer orders
• Provide updates on order status, shipping, delivery, and product availability
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, operations, and manufacturing teams
• Handle customer questions, changes, returns, and general order-related issues
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in CRM/ERP systems
• Support the sales team with administrative and customer-facing activities
• Help ensure customers receive timely and accurate communication throughout the order process

Qualifications

• Customer service, inside sales, sales support, or order management experience
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial distribution, electrical products, automation, or another technical environment is preferred
• Comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email throughout the day
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Experience preparing quotes and/or processing orders is beneficial
• Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
• Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Junior candidates with the right customer-facing experience are encouraged to apply
