VP of Product

Engineering Manager – Product Development

Our client is seeking an experienced engineering leader to help guide a growing software organization through product development and ongoing expansion. This role will connect engineering execution with broader business priorities while helping teams deliver reliable, maintainable technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers and technical professionals

• Partner with leadership to establish development priorities and translate business objectives into actionable plans

• Guide projects from early planning through implementation and delivery

• Help teams evaluate technical approaches, tradeoffs, and development priorities

• Establish practical processes that improve coordination, accountability, and delivery

• Identify opportunities to improve existing products and development practices

• Coordinate across technical and business functions to keep initiatives aligned

• Anticipate organizational and technical challenges and develop plans to address them

• Support successful delivery of major initiatives and improvements

• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent while strengthening team capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

• Significant professional software development experience

• Previous experience managing and developing engineering teams

• Strong understanding of software development, architecture, and technical problem-solving

• Experience taking software initiatives from planning through implementation

• Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical functions

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Comfortable making decisions in a growing and evolving organization
