Location: Greater Wichita / Colwich, KS area
Job Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with scheduled overtime

About the Role

We are hiring an Operations Supervisor for a hands-on leadership role in a production environment near Wichita, Kansas.

This person will supervise a small team, help keep the shift organized, and make sure daily work is completed safely, correctly, and on time. The right person will be comfortable working on the floor, supporting operators, training employees, and holding the team accountable.

Schedule

This role works a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

The schedule includes:

• Approximately 14 scheduled workdays per month

• A mix of day shifts and night shifts

• Scheduled overtime built into the rotation

• Extended time off built into the schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of hourly employees.

• Keep daily operations moving safely and efficiently.

• Train and coach employees in the field.

• Hold team members accountable for attendance, performance, and task completion.

• Support payroll and performance review processes.

• Work with other departments to address equipment or process issues.

• Help build consistency, structure, and accountability across the team.

Ideal Background

• Prior supervisory or lead experience in a production, industrial, utility, or process environment.

• Comfortable working in a hands-on plant or manufacturing setting.

• Experience around equipment, systems, machinery, utilities, or process operations.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make decisions quickly.

• Strong people management and time management skills.

• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
