Position Summary: Project Sales Representative
This role is designed for sales professionals who understand (or can quickly learn) the technical, code-driven environments behind fire protection and security system installations. You’ll focus on generating revenue through new and exiting system projects and major upgrades, requiring a proactive, opportunity-driven mindset.
Your Primary Mission

Generate and close project opportunities for large-scale installations and system retrofits.

Annual Goal: Targeting ~$1.2M in project revenue.

Ideal Background: Experience in life-safety project sales—particularly fire sprinkler systems—is highly advantageous.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Entire Project Sales Journey

Build your own pipeline, identify new project opportunities, and oversee each opportunity from first contact through contract signing.

Conduct site reviews to evaluate customer needs and design tailored, compliant system solutions—whether fire alarm, sprinkler, access control, CCTV, or intrusion.

Produce accurate, professional proposals and collaborate with the engineering, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth transitions after the sale.
What You Bring

2+ years of proven sales experience in fire protection or other life-safety technology fields (mandatory for sprinkler specialization).

Ability to read plans, interpret codes, and navigate technical details.

Comfortable learning the nuances of complex systems and accurately quoting labor, materials, and design needs.

Strong communication skills and a history of steady, reliable employment.

Maintain a clean, organized pipeline through CRM platform.

Prospect and sell exclusively to commercial and institutional clients, including schools, municipalities, office buildings, and multi-tenant properties.

Present proposals confidently to decision-makers in person.

Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.

Participate in ongoing training, product education, and professional development.
